Happy New Year from Be Kind Designs! Week one of the new year and you may be resolving to drop some pounds or add to your savings. These are admirable goals but past experience shows that resolutions often only last for a few months. There is one resolution that is easy to keep and makes you feel good. If you haven’t guessed, it has to do with kindness. Studies show that doing acts of kindness can lower your stress level while boosting your feelings of happiness and self-esteem. We’re not talking grand gestures here. Something as simple as paying someone a compliment or holding a door can make a difference.

There’s an easy way to stay on the kindness track this year. The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation has created a kindness calendar for 2019.
